I ordered my TSR4 with Tour AD DI-7X and midsize grip. All other things was standard (Length, weights etc).

After I got it I put it on a swing weight scale and the swing weight was D9. I hit it well and it doen't feel that "head heavy" at all.

The only thing I have done after the test session was to put on a standard size Titleist grip because the midsize was to soft. After that I did check the swing weight again and it between D8-D9.

The total weight of the driver is 339 grams and head size is 200g with the standard weights at 11g and 3g.

The product page states that the TSR4 has a swing weight at D4. I know that 9g in shaft weight is like +/- 1 swing weight point. So my driver should be like D5:ish in swing weight.

Could any Titleist rep confirm if D9 with my setup is correct?

Changing from mid-sized grip to standard will create the issue. The standard grip is lighter which is moving your balance point, thus the swing weight. If it is an issue, get lighter head weights. I for one like the head to be a bit heavier so I can feel where it is in my swing. Key is to not get it so heavy that it slows down your clubbed speed.

With the midsize grip it had a swing weight at D9-E0.

You’ll have to call the Titleist office or a dealer that ordered this for you, where your club was made. UK? Customer support doesn’t monitor this discussion.

I hav done that. The dealer going to check with Titleist why the swing weight is so high.

I mean. Standard with a 60g shaft is D4 according to product page. I can't see how just 8.5g in extra shaft weight can add 4-5 swing weight points. We have weighted the weights and they are 11g and 3g. As they should be.

My club fitter have talked to a Titleist rep. And Titleist also said it should be like D5.5 in swing weight and not D8-D9.

The only thing they could come up with, is that the head must been hot melted. It's not the first time Titleist fucks up orders for me.
