I have only been playing golf regularly for the past 3 season, (Boston area). I was playing in a member/member summer tournament (July 21) at my club, Oakley CC. we were on the 140 yard par 3 twelfth hole. I hit 3rd and I hit a perfect 8 iron (Titleist AP1) with a slight draw, it was heading right for the pin, but that green has a lot of slope and we couldn't see the hole. The last guy in our group hit his shot short and in the sand. We all waited for him to get on the green. He got on the green from the sand, we were all looking around because we only saw 3 balls on the green. I said, "wow, I hit that one as good as I could, I cant believe it's off the green" The next thing I knew, the last guy on the green was walking up and said "did anyone check the hole?" He walks up to the hole, looks in, and said "It's a HOLE IN ONE!" Hight fives all around.
