I used to live in MD and went to the range in Severna. There is a short(very short)Par3- 9 hole that wraps around the back net of the range. I would find Pro V1's in the rough of the 5th hole each time I played there. I would find the same mark each time that had a hand written "WHP". I would find 6-10 balls each time! I thought, "who would leave these expensive balls and not pick them up"
Here's what I found out; there's a 64 yr old guy who crushes his drives off the mat, at the range, over the net and can't walk too far to retrive them. I met him and told him of my find. Since then I have been helping him get back all the balls that cleared the net. Last year he gave me a doz balls as a gift. It only took me 1 week to loose all of them on the same course. The old man has passed and I got a free lesson in life. Now all I need is more Pro V1's!
