First Ace at 42

While playing a practice round with 3 very good friends and fellow golf addicts on 5/6/2010, I struck golfing GOLD for the first time in my career. I had just finished off my second birdie of the round on hole 15 (a par 5) and decided to use a 4 iron on the 197 yard par 3 16th hole. One of the most difficult holes at Mayville Golf course. The shot was struck solidly as acknowledged by my friends Josh, Russ and Joe, who agreed it appeared to be a "green ball". It faded perfectly onto the green and released, rolling about 60 feet into the cup. Astonished, and overwhelmed at what had just happened I didn't know what to do, so I did what every golfer would do. I bought my friends a beverage and played more golf.
