My name is John Duggan Sr. and I am a 5 handicap at Medinah Country Club, and have been playing Pro V1s since they were first introduced. Each Christmas since then, as a tradition, I have given each of my two sons, John Jr. and Jim, a dozen Pro V1s as a stocking gift. My son John has a son, John III, who now plays as well, and I began giving him a sleeve of Pro Vs in his stocking when he started playing. John III is in the junior program at Medinah.

My grandson told his father one day a few years ago that we should play our Pro Vs based on our number as John I, John II, and John III. So, we started marking our balls with the letter J next to the number, with me playing J1, my son playing J2, and my grandson playing J3.

So, we have three generations playing Pro Vs identified by generation! It was a cool idea that my grandson was very proud he thought of, and we have had fun doing.
