Henderson Makes History at KPMG Women's PGA Championship

Titleist Pro V1 golf ball loyalist Brooke Henderson birdied the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to win the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for her first career major championship title. Henderson overcame a three-shot deficit on the final nine, closing with a bogey-free six-under 65 - the best round of the week at Sahalee - to reach the playoff with a six-under 278 total in regulation. The 18-year old Henderson became the second-youngest winner in a major championship.
BY THE NUMBERS: Trusting her Pro V1 golf ball from tee-through-green, Brooke Henderson carded a 67, 73, 73 and 65 for a total of 278 and -6 for the tournament before winning the championship in a playoff.
THE COUNTS: Titleist was the most relied upon golf ball at the event with 112 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than nine times the nearest competitor with 12.
