World No. 7 Rickie Fowler relied on his Pro V1 golf ball on Sunday to top an elite limited field made up of some of the world’s best players, as he captured the Hero World Challenge (an unofficial event on the PGA Tour) with a course-record-setting final round of 11-under-par 61. Fowler finished four shots clear of runner-up, Titleist Brand Ambassador Charley Hoffman (Pro V1). Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Spieth (Pro V1x) and Titleist golf ball loyalist Tommy Fleetwood (Pro V1x) tied for 3rd, two more shots back, as Titleist players accounted for each of the top four spots on the leaderboard.
Fowler started the final round seven shots off the lead, but he opened with seven straight birdies and added an eighth at No. 9 for an incredible 8-under-par 28 on the front side at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas.
Last season Fowler won the Honda Classic, finished 7th in the FedExCup race and ranked inside the top 40 on Tour for every category in the Strokes Gained statistics.
“The big thing was to not lose what we had going this past year,” said Fowler, “because it was a very solid year across the board. And what we're going to work on going forward is just picking up a few of the little things that could have made just that difference to put us in the winner's circle more on Sunday.”

With two more European Tour victories this week, both coming in sudden death playoffs, Titleist golf ball loyalists have now won all three events to start the 2017-18 season.
South African Dylan Frittelli (Pro V1) converted a birdie putt on the first extra hole of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open to edge fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Arjun Atwal (Pro V1x) in an all-Titleist golf ball playoff. The event was co-sanctioned by both the European Tour and the South African Sunshine Tour.
It was the second European Tour win of the calendar year for Frittelli, who captured the Lyoness Open in June.
Atwal carded a course-record 62 in the first round and both he and Frittelli finished with a 16-under-par 268.
Titleist was the most played golf ball at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open with 109 players teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than four times the nearest competitor with 24.

Local favorite, Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Smith (Pro V1x) captured the Australian PGA Championship, an event co-sanctioned by the European and Australian Tours, with a par on the second hole of a sudden death playoff with fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Zunic (Pro V1x).
Smith, who finished 4th at last week’s Australian Open, earned his first individual win as a professional and first European Tour title. Smith captured the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic in May, a team event he won with Titleist golf ball loyalist Jonas Blixt (Pro V1x).
Smith and Zunic each posted an 18-under 270 total to reach the playoff.
Titleist golf ball loyalist Adam Bland (Pro V1x) finished one shot out of the playoff, as the top three finishers relied upon Titleist for their success.
It was the second consecutive win by a Titleist Brand Ambassador in Australia as Smith, a Queensland native with friends and family in the crowd, follows fellow Aussie Cameron Davis into the Titleist Winners’ Circle.
He also becomes the second consecutive Aussie to win on the European Tour, following Titleist golf ball loyalist Wade Ormsby’s victory at the Hong Kong Open in last week’s season-opener. Ormsby tied for 9th this week.
“I remember going out there with dad and mum watching Adam (Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott) and those type of guys up there at Coolum. It was really one of my goals, I wanted to win one down here, and just being in Queensland makes it a little bit more special.”
Titleist was the overwhelming most played golf ball at the Australian PGA Championship with 4 out of 5 players (125) teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly 13 times the nearest competitor with 10.
Titleist also topped the count in drivers (55), irons (69) and wedges (241) at the event.
Here's the equipment that Cameron used to capture his Australian major:

It was the first professional win and first Asian Tour title for Xiao at the event, which was co-sanctioned with the China Tour.
Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls at the Asian Golf Championship with 77 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly eight times the nearest competitor with 10.
Titleist was also the field favorite in irons sets (29%) and wedges (45%).
Each of the top 10 finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

And finally, Titleist golf ball loyalist Brady Schnell (Pro V1) captured the Shell Championship, posting an 11-under-par 273 victory total at the season finale, one shot clear of two players.
