Last year, during U.S. Open week, Titleist staff member Dennis Walters received the Bobby Jones Award, one of the highest honors bestowed by the USGA. This year, almost a year to the day, Dennis was recognized again, this time as one of five members in the Class of 2019 who were inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Despite some daunting obstacles, Dennis has lived a life of purpose, a life built around the game of golf and serving others. Over the course of his 42-year career as a performer, entertainer and teacher, he's performed more than 3,000 shows, logged well over 3 million miles on the road and hit more than 3 million golf balls in his exhibitions. At each stop along the way he's made a positive impact on people's lives with his inspirational story.
Dennis spent some time with us recently and he shared how he's #ProvingIt with every shot he hits. We hope you enjoy the video and for more details on Dennis' induction, please visit the World Golf Hall of Fame.
