I've just swapped my Ap1's for a new set of custom fitted AP2's. I think I'm hitting the ball higher and less distance with AP2's. Has anyone else found this or is it all in my mind? Should I care?

i switch to custom fit AP2's from 702's - I have noticed higher ball trajectory but I am also hitting the ball much further then ever have... example: 7 iron ave for me 155 - 160
What shafts did you have fitted?

Has anyone noticed that titleist is the only one how hasn't messed about with there loft I work at Drummond and notice other makes give u 7 iron demo clubs. Titleist is six iron and there the same loft so that's why others go further

Yes I am having the same issue, especially with my shorter irons, 7 to pitch. The loft on my shorter irons were greater than my previous set. It made me change balls so I could get the same distances I was use to.

Yeah I've noticed the same thing. I'm losing about half a club in distance due the height I'm getting now. It's frustrated me to the point that I've gone back to my A12 pro irons. Same shaft (KBS tour) but they play so much lower than the AP2's. Even considered selling my AP2's.

I had a similar issue with another brand a few years ago. I changed to a slightly firmer shaft and it fixed it. Best of luck.
