I recently bought a set of Titleist 712 ap2 iron for $700 on Ebay and I did it because the seller is from Prince George,BC. But as soon as I receive the package, I knew there was something wrong with these clubs. The authenticity sticker is not on #6 club, the way that the serial Numbers engraved was different than the authentic ones and  lastly, I noticed that the paint from the club head is peeling off too. I checked with the staffs at Golftown and Golf USA and they all confirmed that these are the counterfeit but the seller. He claims that The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with "defects" therefore they are authentic. So now that I need your guys help to shut this rude seller's mouth. Please take a look at these photos and let me know what you profesionals think.

    Hi Joseph,

Unfortunately, this one raises a lot of alarm bells even at first glance.

You should contact the seller immediately. Most online auction websites have policies to protect a buyer against this type of activity.

You can also share this information with Titleist. Please note that Titleist can not reimburse you for your purchase of counterfeit product. But you can help stop this practice by sharing your experience with us.

Please report your matter to the link below to start a dialogue with our team to help us in our fight against counterfeiters.
