    My wonderful wife said pick the course to play this summer for your 50th, Pebble Beach immediately comes to mind but I need to think it through, we will be travelling down the west coast into California so Bandon Dunes, Pebble, etc.. Any suggestions on the one to play?  There will likely be several rounds, but only one of the big dollar tracks on this trip.

    I had the privilege of Playing Pebble Beach a few years back, and I would highly suggest giving it a go if you get the chance.

    Nothing like playing there, and then watching how the pros do during the Pro-Am.

    The course itself provides a decent challenge, but if you play smart you can score well.

    The biggest thrill seems to be walking up the 18th fairway heading for the green and thinking of all the greats whose foot steps you are following in :)

    I have played some courses that are much more scenic, and others that are more challenging, but Pebble is still Pebble !!!!!
