    Hi all, I noticed on the main site that there is some discussion about the differences in the Titleist branded fitting centres, etc. I thought that I would start a similar thread here just in case there is a significant difference between the US Centres and those in Canada. Specifically, what is the difference between the National Fitting Centre in Ontario and the Regional Fitting Centre in British Columbia (Surrey, B.C.)? Do all of these fitting centres charge for fitting services? Do they waive the fitting fee if I purchase the subject clubs in the fitting? Just curious as I would like to be a bigger advocate for the Fitting Centre and the Fitting process with my golf pals (male and female) and want to be armed with pertinent information! :-). D

    I have been to the National Fitting Center in Ontario a couple of times now, and yes - they do in fact charge for the fitting. I must say that I have found it well worth the money paid. My visits in 2013 and 2014 cost $100 for each fitting. One for my driver, and one for my fairway wood. The benefit came from knowing exactly which club I needed to order, which setting on the adjustable furrell, and which shaft was matched with my swing.

    There was no reduction in cost as the National Fitting Center does not sell clubs. I got a print out of my specs for the proper club so that I could present that to my local Titleist retailer in order to place my custom order.

    Thanks for the feedback Darius. I know that when I attend my fittings at our Regional Fitting Centre in Surrey, I pay a $100 fitting fee. However, I do buy my clubs through them and/or in association with them. The reps here will price everything for me and then place the order through the adjacent pro shop at Northview Golf & Country Club. I know that Golf Town "charges" for a fitting, but will waive the fitting fee when ordering or purchasing a club through them. Darius, when you had your fitting(s), did they produce a data sheet for you on your various Trackman numbers? Or was it a verbal report only? Thanks! D

    When I had my fittings, I received a detailed spec sheet on the club I was fitted for, along with a spreadsheet which was e-mailed to me showing all the data from the trac man. Very nice service...

    Hi Darius,

    That's a pretty awesome report card to get from them. I wonder if that print out report is limited to only the National Fitting Centre or if it should also be available at all of the Regional Fitting Centres too?

    I know that our Regional Fitting Centre uses the Trackman and is fully capable of printing this out, but is a bit erratic at times in the report(s) that they produce. It seems to me that for the "non refundable" $100 fee that I should be entitled to a data sheet and report like this.

    I'm a tad bit envious Darius! :-). Our Regional Fitting Centre does a pretty good job and I like the level of service that Kathy provides. I have had 4 different fittings with her and ordered my wedges, driver, and AP2's through them and have been so very pleased. I recently just had my fitting session for a new 915F 3 - wood and the 915D2 as well. I am going to be placing orders in two weeks so I look forward to receiving them!

    Thanks for the post.
    The National Fitting Centre at Eagles Nest Golf Club here in Ontario will have the largest selection of shaft and spec options for you to try among Titleist Authorized Fitters across Canada.  Titleist also employees a dedicated Fitting Expert at the National Fitting Centre who is a full time Associate fitting golfers into Titleist product each and every day.

    A Titleist Regional Fitting Centre will have a vast array of shaft and spec options, however it won't be quite as deep as the National Fitting Centre.  Also, those operating each of our three fitting centres are golf professionals who are not specifically employed by Titleist.  That said, they are extremely talented fitters and are very knowledgeable of Titleist and its products.  We conduct workshops with each Regional Fitting Centre throughout the year.

    The National Fitting Centre along with each Regional Fitting Centre do indeed charge for fittings.  Contact the applicable Regional Fitting Centre for pricing options.  National Fitting Centre pricing can be found upon booking an appointment here.

    In short, you can be confident in your fitting experience and results regardless of where you choose to get fitted between the two.

    Hi Mitch

    Thanks for the background on the Fitting Centres. I do have a follow up question regarding the "reports" or "data" that is produced. Can clients of the Regional Fitting Centres expect to see a similar report as to the one that Darius has posted from the National Fitting Centre?

    I must admit that it is a terrific report!

    Hi Dino,
    The data you see in Darius' post is a Trackman report.  If you were to ask a Regional Fitting Centre such as Northview for something like that, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to provide it to you.  Perhaps next time you book an appointment with them you can request this type of data as a takeaway.

    Thank you for this info. After hitting the Vokeys at the fitting centre on Oct 3 it became apparent that I really need to be fitted for new 54* and 58* wedges. I'll be waiting until spring but it's good to know that I can go see Chris for a proper fitting.
