    ...what would it be?

Imagine this...a tour player sets out a challenge to you.
    His/Her challenge?

He/She gives you one shot to beat them.  That's right, one shot to beat a tour player from anywhere with any club in your hand.  Could be an 15 foot down hill slider of a putt that you think you could make and perhaps they couldn't.  Or perhaps you think that if you caught one perfect with your driver, that you bomb one past them.  Or...maybe you're confident with that 54 degree in your hand from 125 yards out and you think that you could stick one closer than them.

What would it be?  What would be your 'go-to' shot if one of the worlds best were to challenge you?

    Great question Mitch !!!

I guess for me it would be that 140 yard par three shot for a closest to the pin. I have played in a number of tournaments where you can have the local pro hit the tee shot for your group or take your own. I would have to say that so far I have been happier with my own shot than the one hit by the pro on multiple occasions. There is not doubt I would not want to take on the pro for a full round, but some how it seems that the inner golfer in me seems to step up when I am put into that situation. I only wish I could channel that inner self more often during my rounds :)

  3. Great question!!!!! Well tour players are pretty dynamite from everywhere so this would be quite the challenge but at my course we have a very well placed tree that hangs slightly over the right side of the fairway about 240 yards out on a reachable dog leg right par 5 that has caused me to hit numerous low - rising cuts and believe it or not but I've become very comfortable with that shot. So to answer your question id stick us 245 yards out behind a tree hahahah:)

Um tough one for me would be a chip in from 100 yards see who can get closer to the pin

I would have to say put me behind a greenside tree in the rough 20 yards away. A fully open 60 degree to pop the ball straight up and over landing it nestled beside the flag would be my challenge to the pro.

160 yards out into a green that is well bunkered. Always seem to feel comfortable from that distance, even when I 1st started golfing 25 years ago.

Just about any shot as long as I long as I can use my trusty 7-iron. She gets me out of a lot of tough situations! Almost never lets me down.

A shot of about 15 yards out of a green side water hazard, the odds should be pretty even IMHO. We'll both get wet and possibly covered with mud everywhere.
