I just got fitted for new irons. I was wondering if Golfsmith is an authorized TItleist retailer?

The one in Columbus, Ohio is a fully stocked Titleist retailer. I'd guess the rest are, and their website has a pretty complete selection for on-line buying.

Yes. Many on the forum will tell you that you can get a better fitting experience elsewhere and that is 100% true.
However, I'll gladly admit that is where I was fit and purchased all of my Titleist equipment. Couldn't be happier with switching to Titleist this past year.

I think you also wrote you went to Carlsbad for a fitting, so you can select any retailer for ordering your specified clubs. The price will be about the same, so don't drive by a local pro shop with an outdoor range to test them when they come in to get to a large retailer. The purchase incentives normally exclude Titleist and most of the major suppliers.
The retailers listed under Club Fitting elsewhere on this website is fairly accurate. Brick and mortar stores, by design, are reliable as dealers. Internet web sites have to be validated. Especially for discounted new equipment.
