Where can we view a list of the shafts available as off-menu shafts?

    Thanks

  2. The shafts listed in the custom catalog are the only shafts that Titleist offers at this time: http://media.titleist.com/images/titleist/pdfs/US/2013/2013_Custom_Options_Book_US/html/index.html#1

The catalog is updated every so often. Is there something specific that you're looking for?

just simply not true at all. As the OP says, there are many "off menu" shafts that are not in the book. You have to ask for them.

  4. Not all shafts in the industry are available as "off menu" shafts. You do have to ask your local Titleist rep to look up which shafts would be available.

Hi,  Off menu shafts are shafts that have passed our shaft testing protocols, but are not offered as part of our custom matrix. As a courtesy to players, we will order a shaft not offered as part of our custom matrix (called off menu).  We ask that any off menu shaft order not be changed or cancelled due to the different aspects of placing these orders.

Ordering off menu is not something we encourage as we believe our shaft offering is already the largest in the industry consisting of shafts that are the most used on tour as well as most requested by fitters and players.  As this is a courtesy to place these orders, and they are not part of our matrix, we will not be listing off menu shafts.

    Cathi,

Thanks for clarifying.  So if there is a shaft that lets just say, Graphite Design, offers but is not on matrix you can get the shaft but the order cannot be changed?  Is that correct?  Thanks, Shawn

We can order the shaft if:  1) the family of flexes has passed our shaft testing protocols, 2) it is approved for sale to OEMs by the shaft vendor 3) it is not extremely expensive (ie $1000)

If those three criteria are met, we can order the shaft, but do ask that you don't make any changes and do not cancel the order once it has been placed.
  8. So in order to help my shoulder I want to order the UST Recoil prototype 125 in the 714 AP2s, will I be able to get these?

Want/need to go to graphite due to recurring shoulder pain.

    Thanks

    Mike

The Recoil prototypes are not available to order.  UST only sells the prototypes to their shaft retailers.

In graphite, we offer the GDI 65i, VS Proto 75, VS Proto 85, Aerotech i95, i110 and the NV105T.

  10. Cathi,

    I am confused

In the 2014 Custom Iron shafts thread, Titleist states they are able to get the graphite iron shafts from UST recoil in 95 and 110, which are the prototype version, the 125 is not included. So I am still holding out hope the recoil prototype in 125 will be included soon.

    Thanks

Hi Mike,  There are several Recoil models.  The standard Recoil, 12300 and 12302 was approved to order as an off menu shaft.

I agree with Cathi 110%! Titleist has spent TONS of time, money, research, and so on, testing an array of shafts that they best feel meets their criteria. The shaft matrix already has a great deal of premium shafts...from the high handicapper to scratch. They have a shaft on their matrix(s) that'll work for all kinds of players.
