Shaft Options stiff vs regular

    Looking at a new set of Titleist woods/irons...got fitted and specs came as follows:

    95 mph swing speed with driver 105 ball speed

    88-90 mph swing speed with 18 degree fairway wood

    77-79 mph swing speed with 7 iron

    Stiff or Regular? I seem right on the cusp.

    have played s300 in irons (ta7 tour) and stock stiff shaft  (Cleveland launcher) for past 12 years

    hit a high straight ball....will I notice much dropping to a regular shaft?

    Hi,

    You are on he border of stiff or reg. Do you know your launch and spin numbers? They may be the deciding factor. Another thought would be a reg flex with a stiff tip. You also need to be aware of the torque. The lower the torque the less the club face closes.

    Did you get fit on a launch monitor?
