I have used a 46 inch driver and make good center contact. At my age and club head speed of 96 Mph for a driver I prefer to keep swing weight around a D2. My 913 D2 has a Aerotech Claymore 48 gram shaft and with the 4 gram weight. With this configuration it is at a swing weight of 3.5. I would like to take two grams off the weight to get to a 2.5 swing weight which would give me the MOI and swing weight I have found to work best. I am capable of machining a 2 gram weight to fit the pocket (I know you do not sell anything under 4 grams). I could even take the weight out and just machine a plastic piece to fill the pocket. My question is there any reason not to do this or issue with lightening up the head by going lower with the weight than the 4 grams?
