I recently went to a Titleist Club Fitting held at the New Mexico State Golf Course and had a very informative experience.

My fitter was Dale Montano from the Isleta Golf Club in Albuquerque. I was interested in getting a proper driver fit and trying the new models. Dale observed my hitting some shots with my 910 driver with stock Diamana shaft. He tweaked my settings and had me hit a few more.

We then tried a few shaft and driver head combinations with the new models. The launch monitor numbers and Dale's observations concluded that I was not going to get vast improvements with newer equipment or different shafts. His honest assessment that new equipment would not exponentially improve my numbers was refreshing. If I wanted something new and shiny that was my decision. 

I have much more respect for a brand that has honest people like Dale working for them . When I beat my clubs to death working out swing mechanics and am in the market for new equipment I will not hesitate to go the Titleist route.
