    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for the question.

It really is all player dependent, but typically irons and wedges have heavier shafts than woods.  My suggestion is to make sure your 3w and driver are the proper weight for your swing.

    Hope this helps,

    Bubba

  4. Just a thought...

My clubs are longer than standard as well and the swingweights are important to me since I am a larger framed player (6'-6" and 250lbs).  I have found the D4 Swingweight in my irons 4-PW is great, then in wedges I go D5-D5.5 and D6 respectively for 52/56/60.  For my "woods" slightly different, I have D3 for my driver and 3 metal followed by D4-D5 for my hybrids depending on which one I put in the bag (I have a 18/20/23 Hd's).  My putter is heavier at D-7 to E-1 depending on which cameron I use and which weights I put in it depending on the speed of the greens, plus recently I have been experiementing with counter balanced putters...TBC.

I hope this helps...at least you can see some details for my set which is probably similar to other avid golfers with low handicaps.  I have seen Tiger Woods and Justin Rose's spec sheet's from tour vans and their swingweights are various like my own FWIW.

    Good Luck!

    Chris
