I recently bought the Titleist 714 AP2 and 3 Titleist vokey wedges.
I had my irons lengthened 1" and it works perfect for me - unfortunately i did not have my wedges lengthened and I am having trouble hitting them.

I was wondering if it was possible to lengthen them 1" without having to change lie/loft on the wedges.

Please tell me if this is possible!

Hi,  You have several options.  You can have your local pro shop set up a reshaft and we will put in the correct length shaft. Your shop should be able to give you pricing and it would depend on what shaft you choose. Or, you can take them to a repair shop that may put in an extension to extend the length.

Below are local prices in SD for club work.

Reshaft is the most expensive - $17 for the labor plus shaft and new grip.  DG is $15 and a Titleist grip is $12 or so.

Extension - $2.99 for gripping, $7 for extension and about $12 for the Titleist grip.  This will add about 4-5 swingweight points (normally lengthening a club 1" adds 6 swingweight points but the added weight of the extension inside the shaft may drop it a point).

Lie angle adjustment of 1* upright - $5. This WORKED on my lob wedge.   I had been having issues hitting full shots up until 2009 - went to Cleves on the 58 and 64 for a year because their shaft lengths were 35.25 regardless of wedge.  When I went back to a Vokey I had the lie angles set 1* upright - problem fixed.

Thanks! I'll go ahead and try to have them extended.
