I know that this has probably been asked numerous times but if I have my irons 1" long and 3deg Up, I'm pretty sure I should order new wedges 1" long, but what about the lie.  I have read so many different opinions on this from matching the lie of my irons, to making them 1deg flatter, to leaving them standard.  What is the right answer?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for the question.

The lie angle of one's wedges really is player dependent.  Pay attention to your misses; do you miss your wedge shots in any particular direction? Wish you could work the ball a certain way? If you find your wedges to draw too much with the same lie as your irons, go flatter.  Now that you know what to look for, you can pay attention to you wedge game and make the necessary lie adjustments.

    Hope this helps,

    Bubba
