Took my 16 yo grandson (about 8 or 9 HC) to leading retailer yesterday to hit some demo drivers.  TM SLDR, swoosh and Titleist 913 D2.  He hits them very hard, monitor showed little distance between the three, perhaps 3 or 4 yards at most. Hit both R and S, and lofts between 9.5 and 12 (adjusted up to 12 on the SLDR).  And all very straight, dispersion was minimal.  But consistently slightly right of center, perhaps (guessing) 7- 8  yds.  Shots were not blocked, swings looked right down the line.  Set up and Grip okay.  Tried SLDR with draw bias, understanding he doesn't have a slice problem but in the hope that the adjustment to a slightly closed face would help.  Short answer, it didn't.  He plays on fairly tight fairways in two leagues over a dozen or so courses, so  leaving everythin right can be an issue.  Any ideas?

Could be ball position. If it is a little too far back it will cause a slight push even if it looks like he is swinging down the line. Make sure that he has it somewhere near perpendicular to the heel of his lead foot. Be careful not to move it too far forward though because it can cause thin shots and hooks if the ball is too far forward.
