When I order my new set of 716 AP2s I need them one degree upright. Will Titleist pour the heads or bend them? I don't want the bounce to change by bending. Thanks.

In theory, I don't see how the bounce will change if you bend them up or down. It will however, change if you increase or decrease LOFT by the amount of change you make. Typically 1 degree of added loft will add 1 degree of bounce. But as far as changing LIE angle, in my limited knowledge of club-fitting, I don't think the bounce angle will be affected. The bounce angle is designed to work with the club striking the ball with the correct lie angle of the person swinging the club. If yours should be 1* upright, then your bounce should operate as designed. Bending the club to better fit a player's swing just puts the bounce right where it should be when you contact the ground.

Doug is correct, bending lie angle does not have any effect on the bounce. Only changing the loft will do this. Also AP2 irons are forged so there would be no pouring involved to begin with, only cast clubs get poured. So you should be fine to order them +1 up and they will play properly.

    Hope this helps,
