A couple of questions for the fitting experts out there.

I currently have the dynamic gold s300 shafts in my irons, have played them for several years, coming off a couple of injuries, a torn left bicep that cannot be repaired and surgery to remove a bone spur in my right hand. I am thinking of switching to the aerotech steel fiber i80 shafts as a way to get more speed and feel the clubhead more in my swing. Thoughts?

Same question for driver, I have been using the Tensi ck orange shaft 60 grams still flex, and have a friend that suggested I go with a heavier shaft to lower the ball flight, I have tried a heavier shaft and the ball flight is much lower but have heard every talking about high launch to carry farther. Thoughts?

Personally, i don't "feel" the club head more with lighter shafts.... going from a 130g steel shaft to a 85g shaft is a HUGE difference that i wouldn't recommend to anyone without going through a full fitting with a certified fitter.

As for the driver, the same idea applies... a fitting is the best bet. The CK Orange is a fairly stout shaft that is mid launch and low spin. It seems counterproductive to go lighter in irons but heavier in driver. It really depends on how you prefer to flight the ball, but the best way is to try various shafts on Trackman, Foresight or other high end monitor. Depending on your speed, you want a shaft / loft combo that gets you in a 12-14 degree launch window, with between 2000-3000 spin rate. Too low of spin, and you will lose control and ability to keep the ball in the air... too much spin and you will lose distance.

+1 to Brock on the irons...I had both hips replaced and was always in a 120g shaft....decided to go lighter to deal with the hip, back, shoulder issues...however, after hitting 85g shafts for 5 months, I can't feel the club or put a solid strike on the ball twice in a row, and if I do, it's purely accidental, and the only way I can tell if it's a good strike is watching the result...I feel nothing (Playing T200 and T100S blended set). I switched out my T100S irons to Project X LZ 6.0 shafts (120g precut) and voila! I feel like one with the iron again...
