  1. I currently had a fitting to increase driver distance as my cally XR was getting old and hoped with new technology I may gain some distance. Long story short, it didn’t work out. I tried different Titleist heads and shafts and couldn’t find any more distance than what I currently use. Guess I’ll stay with what I have. Why pay a lot for something that doesn’t work. I did order the T150 irons which I gained 1 club length over my miz’s.

Thanks for sharing. Wouldn’t it be a boring world if 100% of the population all played TSR drivers.

If you're coming off of a well fit club, there often isn't much to be had in distance. normally, we do see a decrease in dispersion after about 3-4 model years, but it sounds like what you've got is working just perfectly for you. Keep in mind that USGA and R&A have a cap on CT of the clubface, so a big increase in distance is unlikely unless the shaft, loft, and lie package is drastically different from your current gamer. the best you can hope for otherwise is longer and straighter mis-hits.

It happens. Sometimes we get comfortable with what we have, and see no reason to change. Many of the best players use an older club that works best for them.
I would not get too focused on distance though. When I yank one left and end up in somebodies yard, they are usually pretty happy I didn't go for the extra distance clubs.
