  1. Hey everyone, in a pickle here, thinking of getting fitted to some new irons some time this year.

Currently using some ryobi bladed irons, rly rly old, passed down from my uncle, honestly dont really love much about it, flex, swing weight, everything feels off. Especially comparing it to my driver (tsr3) and 5 wood (cobra speedzone tour), which i got myself.

Makes me really want to change irons this year but then again next year Titleist would be releasing new irons, i believe its the end of the t series line ( 3 generations already)

anyone got some tips or advice for me?

I would go ahead and look at the T-series irons. A session with a Titleist approved fitter could easily determine which irons -- and which shafts -- are right for you. Even if Titleist comes out with new ones next year, you'll still have high quality clubs that should be good for you for a long time.

I would not wait on another release. This T series is the best iron line from top to bottom of any company out there. Whatever comes next will most likely be very small differences at best.

Only really low handicap/professionals really see a difference in new releases, despite what many will tell you. Buy now, you'll love them!

Find a Titleist fitting, and put down the $100 deposit. Those guys won’t just sell you new irons ( in your case, they likely will) but point out to you why irons fit for you will both improve your game and keep you from accommodating you to the clubs.
Pros can usually adjust to most any club, but it is harder for most amateurs. Playing clubs you were never fit into will likely be night and day with even current generation 3 irons. There was a jump from gen 2 to gen 3, so from now to late 2025 you will benefit moving to better technology today. The gen 4 release may well only be an incremental improvement.
