Hello everyone - I’m excited to have a full bag fitting scheduled for mid-April at TPI… the experience and anticipated new set of clubs is a bit of a treat before our first baby arrives this summer!
Play off a 3hcp… have done a lot of swing & speed training work over the winter (up 25 yards on most clubs!) so I’m excited to see how this fitting can mesh my clubs with my new swing.
Question - with Titleist’s typical club release schedule, it seems likely that a new woods line is released this Fall… wondering if I should use the TPI fitting to get a “baseline” on head/shaft/settings/etc but then wait to get fit again locally once the new woods line is released?
Or, assuming there’s a fit with the TSR model that sees significant improvement, should I just pull the trigger?
My current png woods are decent, so the upgrade isn’t necessarily urgent… but I’d be bummed if the new heads end up being a decent step forward knowing I paid full price only a few months ago for the older model.
I know it’s an impossible question to answer… just curious how you’d think about this in my shoes?
