  1. I've been looking into signing up for a Titleist iron fitting at a course near me. I have a few questions regarding the fitting as I'm a taller player at 6'5". Will the fitter have extended length shafts, either 1/2" or 1' longer, as I've played both lengths in the past? How about the ability to adjust lie angles?

Short answer - yes. My experience is, if it's a Titleist rep they will have it all.

If you are doing a fitting through Titleist at a specific event or location, chances are good they will have extended clubs, less likely on the ability to adjust lie angels but through the Trackman data will zero in on a lie angle that suits you best.

You will bring your club the fitting and the fitter will take notes of those shafts and length as a baseline.

  4. Finding the correct length and lie angle is at the heart of an iron fitting. A Titleist fitter will be able to try different lengths and lies with you. If for some reason he can’t there is something wrong.

I know for a fact that they will have various length shafts for the fitting process, but I am not sure if they will have heads with different lie angles.

If you are going to a Certified Titleist Fitter, they will have everything you need for a proper fitting.

Yes, they can adjust lie angles using adjustable hosel on irons. While they may not have every shaft in every length, they will usually have shafts from -1" to +1" in 1/4" increments.
  8. Thanks. It will be a Titleist fitting event with one of their reps/fitters.
