I am scheduled for a hybrid / iron fitting in April. I am interested in gapping for hybrid but not necessarily irons at this point - wouldn’t make sense with release coming later in the year . I am curious about GT1 fairways though . Anyone ever change up a fitting like this - instead it hybrid / irons change to hybrid/ fairway?

After getting my 2023 blended irons, I needed a gapping of metal woods. Not because of the irons but because 2 hybrids and a fairway didn’t have more than 10 yards difference between them.
    I ended up with a 7 iron T200, 6 iron T350, a 26 degree TSR-1, a TSR-1 23 degree, a 20 degree TSR-1 fairway, and an 18 degree TSR -1 fairway. The 6 iron and 26 degree hybrid vary depending on how well I’m hitting the iron that day.
As a LH, the 7W hadn’t been available since the 915 release. Should never had sold that and this is a keeper.

My selection was driven by my fitter. I’ve always hit hybrids better in the past but these fairways do just fine. It all depends on what you do better with. The 2023 irons approached revolutionary but most releases will be evolutionarily. …I might be wrong…. If your irons were fitted in the last 2 cycles, there shouldn’t be much of a distance change. Gapping woods to your current irons may show if your longest iron needs to be replaced for best performance. But you can take that into account in your metal woods fitting. You can hold off on replacing that if you need a new steel this fall.

Thanks - yes agree with your assessment on the bridge point with my irons - probably won’t change much and adjustability with new hybrids seems you can almost move up or down a club . also called Titleist and they can adjust the fitting away from irons/ hybrids to utility iron/ hybrids/ fairways
