Its about that time of year when the ball dept starts looking at how to change balls, then make the changes permanent, then testing next year.

So just forget about the NXT, its just fine right now, it doesn't need any improvements.

Don't even change the side stamp, arrowhead dot dash NXT dash dot arrowhead.

Even the box doesn't need changing, its such a pretty box.

How important is it for the player to stay with one ball?

How is the player supposed to do that when you change the characteristics of the ball?

LOL - I agree. I love the NXT. It's the best ball for me. I only wish it came in optic yellow.

New and Improved is not a bad thing.  Embrace the change and trust your Titleist.

New and improved ProV1 is why I'm playing NXT.

Agreed that new and improved is NOT a good thing. If the mechanics/technology behind the product was obsolete, then that's one thing, but to change attributes just because the golf ball development team needs to keep a job is not necessary. The term "new and improved" regarding golf balls is simply creating an entirely different product (referring strictly to golf balls), and not having to spend the money to re-market a new name.

When it comes to balls, people stick with what works. When what works changes, people aren't happy as then they have to go find something new that does.

  10. I just got the email from titleist. No more NXT Extreme.  WOW this ....Not sure what ball to play now.

    Hey Greg

Last time I was at WalMart they had them.......I just went to walmart.com, they don't have them.

It appears the NXT has moved into the NXT Extreme position. So NXT will probably become available at WalMart.

They were both 2 piece, same materials, Extreme core was a little smaller and the cover was a little thicker.
