I currently use the NXT Tour, and I love the ball, but am concerned I am not getting all the distance out of it I should. My SS is about 112 with the driver, is it too much for the NXT Tour? I love the feel, and it stops very well for me on pitches. My chips tend to roll out, but most balls do from the rough. I appreciate all comments.

Do yourself a favor and at least try the a sleeve of the ProV1x.  To me the ProV1x (1) holds the greens better and (2) spins less off the driver than the NXT Tour.  With your swingspeed I would bet that extra driver spin could be a problem.  Do your drives "balloon" or have lots of curvature?  The x could help flatten and/or straighten your tee-shots.  I have found that the ProV1x launches higher but flies "flatter" giving it a shallower landing angle for more roll.  Good luck with your testing!

Ok, thanks for the reply. I tried the Prov1x before, and it gave me too much spin on irons into greens, if the green had a little slope front to back, I spun them off the green. The nxt tour held the green for me. And yes, sometimes my drives balloon with the nxt tour, very little roll also.

I also thought the nxt tour spun less off the driver than the prov1x? At least that's what the ball fitting tool said.

    Robert,
This years PRO V1x seems to have less spin than previous editions. I have the same swing speed as you and am very happy with the results of the new ball.

Good ball flight off of the driver and predictable stopping on the greens.

My swing speed tops at 115 and i swing easy that i charted at 110. I use the NXT Tour and do not see anything wrong or lose distance at all. To be honest of all the difference i see is with the Pro V1x i will have more spin from the SS so that spin can translate into bad things. For instance perfect shot will go nice high and straight. Bad shot will go high or mid flight with a hard shank or snap hook. So using the NXT Tour with such a high swing speed we can get a ton of spin off the NXT Tour off irons and wedges while not having way to much on driver/woods/long irons.

Thanks for the response. That is what I thought as well. I can spin the prov1x's off the green, the nxt tours, hit and stop for me. I was hoping that I was not sacrificing distance off the tee. I love the feel of the Nxt Tours, and have adjusted to a little roll out on chips. For the price, I believe they are the best balls on the market.
