    Hello,

I am a 14 year old and do not know which ball i should use. I usually shoot around a 90 and hit my drives usually very straight.

I like the prov1s and x but i cant afford them because they cost a lot. I would play them because of the spin and distance from them, and they seem to hold up more than any other kind of Titleist balls. Thanks team titleist and help me!!!

    Hi Devin,

Since you hit it straight, I would say that the regular PRO V1 would be the best ball for you.

Since they are more expensive than the other Titleist balls, I'd recommend purchasing either "x-out" or "practice" balls for your regular/practice rounds (they are approx. half the price). These "practice" balls will feel and perform just like the regular PRO Vs. If you have any questions about the x-out or practice balls visit Mike D's (from Titleist) answer to a previous post at: http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/team-titleist/f/5/p/9495/43198.aspx

Now for tournaments or high school matches I'd purchase a few sleeves of the regular PRO V1s and use those as you "game" balls.

It sounds like you play regularly and at 14 you will only get better, so you should play the best ball. This ball formula should make this more affordable.

Best of luck with your game -- cheers!

If you are concerned about the cost of the balls, I would suggest going with the NXT line.  They are great golf balls at a more affordable price point.  I would agree with Jeff that the ProV1s and ProV1x are the best balls on the market today.  That said, you get what you pay for.

Sounds like me Devin.  Same age and hit my driver straight, but usually shoot a 70-80.  If you shoot your driver straight then go with a PRO V1.  How do you hit your irons, woods and wedges?  If you want spin on those,  go with the PRO V1.  I use it usually, but can't always get them.  Have you tried the PRO V1 X-OUTS?!?!  They are just like the normal ball with the exception of a logo or print error.  The ball is the same, but they cost less because there is a typo.  They are $20 for a box, unlike $39(where I get them)  for the normal box.  Hope you keep going, and improve your game!
