    I tried out the new Velocity balls yesterday and absolutely loved them. I was told that the ball would play long therefore i'd have to compromise a litte around the greens, but i didn't seem to have too much of an issue with it. Flush hits with my short irons (i play AP2's) felt especially nice and i was able to get a fair bit of control on most of my shots. I am thinking about purchasing a box and using the Velocity on a regular basis! The price point is a lot more appealing than the Pro V range too!

    What do you guys think? How have you found the ball so far?

    I trial tested the Velocity  before Market  and shot 73   I have a 8/9 handicap   and I'm 60+

    I play Velocity now    same results as you     strike the ball well    it performs well    Tee to Green and they are a joy to Putt

    and at $20 a dozen cheaper   better value than Pro_v's     I used NXT's for years   Velocity now the best ball ,   period.

    I have been playing Velocity since it was released and I love it. Long off the tee, and still gets some spin on iron shots into the green. Price was also a big factor, as it is half the cost of ProV and still is a quality Titleist product. I am glad this ball came out for us higher handicappers, it allows us to hit it out there with the good players.

    Thanks for the most information to date on the Velocity. Did any of you also look at the DT Solo for comparison? My hope with the new balls was that the old NXT would get a yellow ball, but DT Solo got the yellow.

    Hi

    I helped test the Velocity   love it    I play Velocity as my regular ball   I get great carry in distance  and it putts perfect

    I'm a 9 handicap with a 88 mph swing speed  so I don't kill the ball   compared to Pro_V   give me the Velocity..

    For $20 less per dozen  and same results      Best ball on the market
