Well done Jon!! The season is still young so there's hope for that hole in one!
Thanks, Christopher. An eagle and a hole in one in one season would be awesome; almost, but not quite, guilding the lily.

I also had my first eagle the other week. Using my 915d3, hit the pro v1x straight down the middle of a par 5 at ours, and then a mid iron in to the back of the green and rolled in a 4ft putt. This was in a knockout comp were I shot. As you can imagine my opponent wasn't too happy. Though did I end up loosing on the last but you can't have it all your own way.
Thank you, Tyler. It was a most satisfying experience.

Jon, congrats on getting your first Eagle!

I just played with a ProV1x for 2 9 hole rounds at my club and could not figure out what I was doing right. My previous best 9 was
43. The 1st 9 with the ProV1x was 41 which I thought was pretty good for my 16 handicap then posting a 37 on the next 9 I figured out it wasn't the carpenter it was his tools.
All the best on your Eagle and many more.
James T.
Thanks, Bruce.
Thanks, Joe.

That was a great way to make an eagle, Paul. I don't think I will ever be able to drive a par 5 in two. That in itself must produce a lot of satisfaction!

Congratulations. Nothing like an eagle to make a perfect day, especially on a par 4. Hang in there there that hole in one will come. I too, started late in life, picking up the game in 1984 and had my first hole in one in 2001 and my second in 2012. As we get older we appreciate it more, or it seems that way. Will be celebrating the big 69 in September. It is nice to have goals and to reach them. Cheers. Chuck

You're never too old to make an eagle. Congratulations Jon. It'll keep you coming back for more. I made a double eagle hole in one (Par 4) several years ago and will never forget how exciting that was. Who knows? Keep up the good work.
