Currently there is no information available about plans for the development of any new Pro V1 or Pro V1x models.  As you can imagine, the Titleist golf ball R&D process is an ongoing effort where we continuosly develop different prototype golf balls for testing and validation. Once we have some news to share, you will be able to find it here first on Team Titleist.

So is there any truth in the rumour that a new ProVI is being tested on tour at the moment?

Hi Martin,

As we mentioned above, our golf ball R&D process is an ongoing effort where we continuosly develop different prototype golf balls for testing and validation. The test golf ball you have seen is just one of these prototype golf balls that was developed for testing. Some prototypes will end up making into production while many won't. Going through this extensive validation process is how we remain on the forefront of golf ball technology.

I had a friend of mine sign up to demo a new pro v. He was mailed a few balls to try and send back an evaluation. How do I sign up to test them?
