    Hello TeamTitleist,

My name is Joe B. I live in Minneapolis, MN. Thank you for including me in the Prototype Evaluation.  My Wedges are Vokey Spin Milled. My Putter is a Scotty Cameron studio model. I am swinging at 70% to 80% of my max and the direction of my shots have improved significantly. I have suffered loss of distance.

The Prototype is amazing around the greens. Chips and pitches check up quickly and the role with the putter is amazing. My current golf ball has less spin and can be unpredicatble when playing on fast greens. The protoype ball has a more boring trajectory. The filght for me is a little lower and thats okay. Both balls have a very soft feel. The Prototype was longer by 7 yards on all Long  clubs and the ball checked up from 120 yards in. Thank you for considering me in this test and I hope my input is useful.

    Hello Team Titleist

I played the prototype balls this past weekend.

Greens.......it seemed to me, the ball did not spin and bite as well as the ProV1.  I think it checked & released 2 - 3 yards more,

Full Shots....spin....check & release it seemed to me, 50 yards, with sandwedge.....same, check & release for me.

150 yards out........it seemed it went further than the ProV1, 5 - 10 yards additional

Off the Tee...........Prototype Ball was longer, no question about that,  my guess......10 yards for sure

Feel....................ProV1 seems to feel softer, and it sounds like it squishes better off the driver face

Prefer...............I would prefer the ProV1 over the prototype ball.

I played the prototype ball in a tournament for 18 holes, and honestly, I thought I would change ball 3 times in the round to ProV1 to

get a little more bite on the greens, and a little softer roll on the putter face.  Overall, the little extra over-roll in chipping the prototype ball.

A few rolled in the cup to even out in the total shots of the day.  I noticed the dimples seem to be different too.  The prototype ball seems

to look familar with an other ball on the market, but don't know exactly what one, since I play Titleist all the time.  Overall it is a good ball,

and I would have to play with it longer to adjust to it.  Send me dozen !  One more thing, the Prototype ball did not scuff up like a ProV1 does, the

finish seems to be more durable.  I am happy for Charlie Hoffman, too, I watched him play Sunday in Boston.         Best, Don

One to describe this ball...AMAZING...!  I went out on a wonderful saturday evening onto a course I have never played and I shot my best round of the year! I like to take Long Irons off the tee and the spin generated by the clubs was great..I have trouble with spin so that was a good fix...The ball felt good rolling off the putter and I was sinking putts here and there and I had like 5, 30ft putts that almost went in....All in all I think you guys did a fantastic job on the ball but one thing that I did feel uncomfortable on was the firmness..It did feel firmer than the '09 Pro V1 but absolutely I would play this ball...If you guys could send me a dozen that would be SWEET! Congratulations Charley Hoffman on the win and Gratz to Rickie Fowler and Zach Johnson on being the Captain's picks and making the Ryder Cup...Way to go guyz!!
