Maybe this is a dumb question, but I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference between the pro v1's available on the retail shelves and the pro v1's and v1x's played on tour?

I don't think so. Its the same ball we know and love.

lucky for us the golf ball is the same. they might get the new line right before it comes out but you'll know about it when it happens. other than that the same ball you buy of the shelf is the same as they use.

  4. I'm fairly certain it's the same as well.

    Hi kforcade,

The Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls played by touring professionals are the same golf balls that are available to all golfers. Thanks for the question.

I have heard that the tour pros use a different version of the Pro V1 and the 1X   denoted by a + sign on the ball.

These + balls are not available to the public and a tour specific only.
