    Finally got some good and worthy weather to test the new ProV1 and ProV1x balls. Both are excellent and an improvement over the older series. Still prefer the X for control around the green and apprach shots. Looking forward to seeing hpw these perform when the weather gets dry.

    I have tried them both and have found (at least for me) that the regular ProV1 spins considerably more on "full swing" shots than the X. I didn't find that much difference on the partial swing shots around the green. Off the driver, I like the X for it's higher initial launch angle and "flatter" flight (more roll). Good luck with your testing!

    They still perform beautifully in dry weather.

    I think the pro v1x is the better ball for me because it gaives more distance and control but i beleive the balls should be at a lower price because they are very expensive
