Starting with 58.08 up to 60.04, then skips up to 64.07, the sole grind looks like the entire set of 962's

So thats 4 wedges with one kind of sole grind.

What determines which wedges get a certain sole grind?

    Quintin,

We use extensive Tour feedback and research to determine what grinds will perform well in what lofts/bounces.  What you may notice is that certain grinds will only work in certain loft/bounces, because of what the grind calls for.  Some grinds, for example the T or TK grind, have much wider soles and won't work in lower lofts like a 52*.  Since the 962's, the evolution of the grinds, wedges, and bounces are much more developed then they used to be.

    Thanks Cameron

Apparently the grind of the 54.14 is right. I got it Wednesday, took it to the good practice green(has bunkers) thur morning and practiced about an hour and a half, played yesterday afternoon but never got in a bunker. Played today and on the last hole I finally got in a bunker, about 30y shot, skipped once, bit, then rolled about 5ft to 2ft past the hole.

It goes thru the rough rough really good. Over the 2 days I used it fro a couple 50,60,70y shots and was quite pleased.

I think I'll change my 60 from 30y from green to 15y to green in normal rough and better, and short bunker shots. Then use the 54.14 for all rough rough, normal-long bunker shots and everything outside 15y to the green.

If I ever decide to get another 60 I guess I'll try a Vokey, but I don't want to go down to 4*bounce to get the grind that looks like the 962.
