So I got out for the first time yesterday since being fit last fall at a Titleist Thursday. Purchased a TS2 Hzrdus Smoke 5.5 driver ...loved it. Also a 16.5 fairway with Hzrdus Smoke 5.5...miserable.

I hit it off the fairway 3 times and couldn’t get it airborne. Now..the 5.5 is regular flex with the torque being 4.0 compared to my last shaft of the tour spec 661 speeder, same weight with 3.5 torque.

Could the higher torque be the issue? Driver swing speed is 94 mph, very smooth transition due to lower lumbar back issues, carry a 5 handicap. Didn’t have this issue with the speeder. It just felt like it was twisting at the bottom when making contact and I don’t want to buy another Hzrdus 6.0 shaft..I do still have the speeder though, I might try that. TIA.
