TS3 Silver face

    Has anyone ever seen a Titlist TS3 9.5 deg with a silver face? I have been playing this club and just the other day realized the face has a small indent/caving that is beginning to crack.

    After doing some research, I realized every other TS3 driver in stores/online has a black face with silver face marks, not the othe way around.

    Now im curious what kind of TS3 I've been gaming.. is is counterfit?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated as the season is approaching I'd like to figure this out.

    Search Mr. Short Game (Matt Fisher) on Youtube. He has a whole video reviewing and cutting in half a TS3 and counterfit TS3.

    If it is counterfeit, Titleist won't be able to do much for you. But if you call customer service, and your proof of purchase if you bought it new, they may be able to tell if it is authentic. You can look up the number at the bottom of this web page.

    Usually the counterfeits wouldn't miss on painting the face - a little too obvious. The red or silver markings may be off in color or placement with lower quality standards but missing the face?

    Hi,
    Not sure if it is counterfeit club, from what I see, the face of the club was shaved (reduced) to increase performance. I am almost sure that this club is not legal anymore.
    Also, with this modification, the Titleist guarantee will be void and the club is more subject to crack.
    I think, there is a guy on Ebay that is doing shave on face of drivers.

    As far as I concerned, oem clubs from major manufacturers are already at maximum c.o.r.
    There is no need for this kind of modification.
    My advice is: look for a new driver.
