I would like to bend my sm8 46-10 2 degrees strong to properly distance gap between my 40deg t100s 9i and my 50-08 vokey sm8.

team titleist, is it okay to bend 2 degree strong?

No problem bending loft or lie up to two degrees.

When I took my wedge set to be bent prior to SM Vokeys, I was told the rule was to bend no more than 2 degrees (up or down). I'm assuming the material/metals are still the same, aluminum cast on SM8.

So I would say you're okay with bending it two degree strong, but keep in mind that the bounce will leave you 2 degree less (8 degrees from 10) after it has been bent.

Have you noticed the difference with the change to the bounce? I’d bent a previous set 2° strong like you and found the decrease in bounce was great for links courses but not so great for parkland. Luckily I was due a fresh set and now have both options.

I believe it will give the club less bounce. So that would change the turf interaction a little. If you are taking the club to a shop to do it, ask them. You might even e able to call in to Titleist and ask them. Worth a shot.

Yes. I've bent a 56 SM 8 to 54. But the bounce decreases from 10* to 8*. So your 46-10 will go to 44-8. You will probably notice a difference.

Yes, you can bend 2 degrees but not more than that. I did the same thing because I prefer a Vokey wedge to the set wedge.
