Question about wedges?

    Just looking at some info on wedges, and it said the K grind was the ultimate bunker club. Why don’t they make the K grind in a 54-56 loft?

    They sort of do but call it the F grind in less lofted wedges. Same degree of bounce but just a slightly thinner diameter sole. Having both the F and K in the same loft would probably be too similar.

    Not sure about not being in another loft besides 60, but it is a very effective bunker club

    I have a 58* K grind and use it for the shorter greenside bunker shots. An easy club to hit in the sand, but I feel the sole slides too much for me on full shots from the rough or fairway. My F grind wedges have a narrower sole, which I like better for full shots. All 3 wedges with plenty of bounce, too.
