  1. I’ve got a 3 wood (917F2) that has a crack right in the middle where the face and sole meet. I love this club and want to know if they would just replace the head for me or is it too old to replace?

Correct. The warranty is one year. See details at the bottom of this website. There have been two later models and about to be three. No older model heads are stocked post-production. Your best bet would be to seek a replacement at a used club provider like 2ndswing.com or try eBay. If you find one but the shaft is not the same, no worries, they will interchange with your current club. Another option would be to do a fitting and try out a newer model, either the TSi series or the TSr series about to be released. These newer clubs are pretty sweet.

I would try to go get fit for a new 3 wood. As Dale said the TSi line and the new TRS line are pretty sweet. Technology has only gotten better since the 917 days.

If you want it replaced, you'll most likely be paying for a used one, so you should consider an upgrade. FWIW, I had a 915, and saw no improvement with the 917. Replaced it with the TS2 several years back and got great results, and saw no improvement when the TSI2 came out.
  5. Thanks Dale.
