The pro and I were talking about the new TSR woods and the evolution from the TS woods. I was originally fit for a TS2 driver and loved it. Then when the TSI generation arrived I was fit for the TSI3 driver. The TSI outperformed the TS2 driver. Now the new TSR generation is here and my fitting showed that the TSR2 outperformed the TSR3 and the TSI3. The pro at our course has followed the same progression. It has to be the club head because all fittings were done using my Graphite Design shaft. Is there any other Team Titleist members that have followed the same progression? If there are any Team Titleist members that have an engineering background that can shed some light on why this happens I’m all ears. Thanks.
