  1. Hey guys, I was wondering if I were to order a set of iron shafts -.5in shorter than standard from Titleist, is the swing weight affected around 6 points or is it adjusted to the standard swing weight when Titleist is building and selling online?

I do not think they adjust swingweight

I do believe the swing weight is adjusted when they build them. Those guys are pretty good at getting you want you specify when ordering.

Regardless of direct ordering or through an authorized dealer, the swing weight is adjusted to “standard” if/when not otherwise specified. Runs close to D3 or C9 if marked as a women’s order.
If the components and the specified swing weight can’t be obtained, Titleist will flag the order.

Just tell them what swingweight you want when order them. They will fix that for you when constructing your clubs if possible (with certain limits). They put weight in the hosel to balance your clubs to the swing weight that you asked.

Richard is correct- you must specify the swing weight you want other wise you will get what ever swing weight results from the specs/components you choose. The reason they do this is they don't know what your reason/intention is when ordering the shorter length. The same would apply when a customer orders heavier or lighter shafts or grips.

1/2" = 3 swing weight points- should be easy for Titleist to fully offset with head weight adjustment.
