When fitted for my TSR2 driver last year, we also spent some time fitting for a new 3W. At this point, I’ve accumulated some pro shop credit and decide the time is now to retire my 913F 3W. I was a bit anxious about specifying a club after nearly a year since the fitting, but my driver has paid such dividends that I had to trust my Titleist fitters recommendation of the TSR2 15* with HZRDUS Black 4G 70. .

Between the heat and a compressed afternoon schedule, I only had time for 9 holes. Used the 3W for two tee shots and once for second shot into a par 5. First impression, the face feels hot! Total mishit on one tee shot (I was too far from the ball at address), but still in reasonable position for second shot. Striped second tee ball and was just short of the green on the ball.

I haven’t monkeyed with the settings yet, A1 stock. It does seem to launch a little lower than I’m used to, but then again, I played the 913F at A4 (+1.5*).

But first impressions are awesome!
