They were designed to be lighter to help generate more speed, but I have seen people of all swing speeds that were fit to that head. Swing speed is only one of about half a dozen things you get fit for. With the TR6s shaft I would think they were a custom fitting or an experiment. Give them a try. They might surprise you.

They are marketed for the slowest swingers and usually paired with ultralight shafts to increase swing speed. That said, Nelly Korda played one for a while with a stiffer shaft. My only caution to someone with a high swing speed would be to understand that they are built with the thinnest faces so hard hits off center with hard balls could result in cracking or the face caving in over time. Rare but possible. Not near as likely on fairway clubs as drivers. I still play TSi1 15 degree and 18 degree but no longer swing in triple digits.

TSR-1 products are designed for slower swing players with a deeper MOI and overall lighter weight to help with launch. I’d suspect you would get way too high launch angles and lose distance as a result.
Depending on various swing characteristics, the normal speed break point is around 90 mph driver speed. I’m around 85 mph and these 2 woods have been game changers for me. My prior TSR-2 4W was mostly used to flight a ball low from under trees.

What’s nifty is the TSR1 line has a 9W (23*) and 6H (29*). Great for seniors and ladies. I just got a 23 fairway today and, after dialing it in, found it effortless to hit. Oh yeah, still have the 910F 21 and 910H 27.

I just added a TSR1 23 fairway to my bag. It had an ultra light shaft so I changed it to a Diamana 72S (which is a bit soft-stepped since it originally came off an 18 fairway) and the headweight to 3g. Great thing that Titleist carries 9 woods. The TSR1 hybrid comes in a 29* loft. Good for a number of seniors.
