I was able to get T100 club heads at a pretty good price. In very good condition. They've been so great so far in the first round I played. Everything went straight, not my pull hook or block I always see! But they were all short. Haha...I never played in 50°F weather before.
Got the lies and lofts all checked... 1° strong, which I just left... and 63° single lie angle. So I had everything bent to 1° Upright from standard as the 9i looked really flat and the 4i looked very upright.
I got standard Dynamic Gold X100 and you can really see the importance of "Tour Issue" weight sorting. The heaviest shaft was 132.7g and the lightest was 127.9 grams...and they were RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER. The 5 and 6 iron shafts. I ended up soft stepping the irons 5-GW and putting a DG 120 X100 in the 4i. That was also only 117.2g! not Tour Issue.
The clubheads ranged from 243.2g in the 4 iron to 284.9 in the GW. There was a huge range of weights differences the smallest being 3.9g and the largest being 8.8g! this meant my 6i and 7i didn't need any lead tape to get to D3 and every other club needed 1.5g-2.4g of lead tape to reach D3.
My goal for 2025 is to keep my bag setup looking exactly the same as it is in the picture (and stop tinkering!) so I can hopefully finally drop down to a single digit Handicap. 9.9 index will be enough for me! haha.
