  1. I have a Titleist Vokey SM5 Staff bag and would like to purchase a push cart as I have started walking more. I like the storage of the staff bag and would like to stay with it. Is there a push cart that anyone would recommend that can handle the larger bag? I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

Hi NB, ... regarding a pull or push cart for the larger staff bag(s), I would suggest that you take a look at the Click Gear 3.5+

It handles the larger bags quite well and comes with lots of little options such as beverage holders, umbrella holder, etc. Plus it comes with a really nice little "wheel bag" for when it is folded up ... the bag keeps the back of your vehicle clean! It also folds up quite nicely too.

I would recommend a high quality Sun Mountain or Clickgear push cart to handle your bag.

I think most golf pushcarts would be able to handle your staff bag. If you get a chance to compare what the lightest pushcarts are, I think that would be a plus. Try and get one with a brake system, too.

After all that's been said, if you like the ease of being hands free while you walk, see if you'll like an electric caddie with a lithium battery. The new ones have large wheels with the front wheel pivot/turn and also a remote control operated. Mine, I have an older model without the remote control (wish I had that), but it is much better than not.

Either way you go will be good. Enjoy the walk!

I agree with Dino J. The Click Gear 3.5 will handle your bag well. Balance is excellent and unit rolls with little resistance. Many options also. This is by far the favorite at the club where I work.

I've tried many carts while I was playing with my cally masters tour bag and I've had bagboy and various other carts and they have all broken down. Now still using my clic gear first generation and it is still going strong. Worth the bucks

To add to the conversation, I currently have a titleist walking bag that I really like. Unfortunately my course makes me take a cart before 12 noon on weekends, and when I take a cart, the bag typically slides to the side/ doesn't stand upright. Are there any walking bags that anyone recommends that won't do this?

Clicgear. Have used Sun Mountain and Clicgear. Clicgear folds up nicely for storage, sturdy, lightweight and nice color selection. You get more bang for the money with this cart. Highly recommend it and great customer service. Have had mine since 2011. Shop around on the internet for the best price. Clicgear.com gives you all the details and specifics regarding this cart. Give them a call if in doubt. Cheers, Chuck.

I have a Clickgear 8 and it handles my staff bag just fine. Typically though I use my Staff stand bag as its a good bit lighter and easier to push. The Clickgear 8 is four wheels, made in US, has good bearings in the wheels, quite rugged, and there is an optional seat that I like a lot. Downside, even folded up it takes up most of my trunk. Hope this helped.
  12. Thank you for the great responses. I appreciate it.
  13. Have to agree that the Clicgear 3.5 is a great cart. I won mine in my men's league, and it is much better that Sunmountain, and both are better than Bagboy.

Along with everyone else I'll vote for the Clicgear. My wife and I love ours. The variety of available accessories is awesome.

I have not had any problems with the Sun Mountain V1 for my 9.5 staff bag. Lots of starage and more importantly, fits the bag because of the adjustable arms and runs very smoothly.

I have the lightweight cart bag and have the Tour-Trek 360 and is perfect. East to push and you can unlock front wheel for turns if needed.
